NOTE TO INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGERS AND USERS
Please be informed that from 1 January 2022 the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania will no longer accept or publish notifications from Infrastructure Managers about the electronic communications infrastructure to be installed or the physical infrastructure suitable for the installation and/or sharing of electronic communications infrastructure.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 44 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Electronic Communications No. IX-2135 and Chapter VII of the Rules for the Installation, Marking, Maintenance and Use of Electronic Communications Infrastructure, Infrastructure Managers will be required to submit these notifications through the single information system “Gateway for Territorial Planning and Construction” (TPS Gateway: https://www.planuojustatau.lt), which is administered by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania. Notifications will be accepted through the free service “Providing information about planned installation of electronic communication infrastructure and related data to the public in the “Measuring” section of the TPS gateway website.
Infrastructure users wishing to access the published information on the planned electronic communications infrastructure and/or suitable physical infrastructure will be able to do so by subscribing to the free “Event Subscription Service” section of the TPS Gateway website under “Surveillance of the Territory”.
Please note, that in accordance with Article 44 paragraph 3 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Electronic Communications No. IX-2135, in accordance with the procedure and conditions of “The Rules for the Installation, Marking, Maintenance and Use of Electronic Communications Infrastructure” and the information referred to paragraph 2 of Article 44, published in the Topographic and Engineering Infrastructure Information System, an infrastructure user, wishing to install an electronic communications infrastructure, no later than one month before the infrastructure manager applies to the competent authorities for the necessary permits (if such permits are not required, before the start of the installation work) must apply to the infrastructure manager for the joint installation of the infrastructure.
