Registered delivery of electronic data is necessary for exchange of important electronic data in the world of technologies. These services are attributed to trust services in order to form more favourable conditions for cross-border recognition of current national legal systems related to the services of electronic registered delivery. Furthermore, this system could open new market possibilities for the EU trust service providers to offer new electronic registered delivery services at the European level.
Qualified electronic registered delivery services can only be provided by authorised qualified trust service providers the list whereof is available at www.elektroninisparasas.lt/EN, however, the electronic registered delivery system not having a “qualified” status https://epristatymas.post.lt/ has been recognised in Lithuania so far.
