The service of preservation of electronic signature and electronic seal is necessary to ensure the legal validity of electronic signatures and electronic seals over extended periods of time and guarantee that they can be validated irrespective of future technological changes.

Time stamps

Purpose of time stamps According to the eIDAS Regulation – electronic time stamp means data in electronic form which binds other data in electronic form to a particular time establishing evidence that the latter data existed at that time.

Validity of electronic signature and electronic seal

Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market (eIDAS) stipulates that verification of electronic signature and electronic seal may be carried out by the provider of electronic signature and electronic seal validation service.
